About Jouiniana Praecox
A truly garden-worthy plant that deserves to be more popular. This non-clinging sub shrub is happy almost anywhere but excels as a ground cover on a gradual slope. The 1.5-2″ (4-cm) lavender hyacinth-like flowers are closely produced about twenty per stock giving the impression of a panicle of color. The flowers are produced from July to late September. Mature height 12-20′ (3.5-6m) if left unpruned or 6-10′ (1.8-3m) if pruned. Pruning group B or C.
